I need Advice on my very thick and wavy/curly frizzy hair?

I've straightened it ,curled it, put it up, put in gel, mousse, smoothing serums. Just about everything you can think of for a persons hair. It's still thick, coarse, just yuk. HELP. Should I have it thinned or layered, if there are any hairdressers out there who can help me

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

Well, you should go to your hairdresser and ask them for a professional level relaxer. They can do it themselves. Its a kind of creme that stays in your hair for a few minutes to half an hour depending on how wild your hair is and it literally relaxes your hair for a few weeks. It's like sending your hair on vacation! :D

For thick, coarse, frizzy hair, layering is the best way to go. It will remove the heaviness. Thinning isn't as good an idea. Try Herbal Essence Dangerously Straight (pin straight) in the pink bottle, both shampoo and conditioner. They were a lifesaver for me. Also use a spray-on, leave-in conditioner. If your hair tends to look a bit dry or dull, use a glossifier after drying your hair. Do not wash your hair everyday. It doesn't need it unless you're outside a lot. Find a picture in a fashion magazine of a hairstyle you like. Get a beautician to style your hair. Make sure they are skilled in cutting wavy hair. Some aren't. There are lots of hairstyle magazines in the beauty shops. Stop by one and glance through them.

I have curly, frizzy hair. It doesn't matter what I use, it's that way. The only thing so far that helps is olive oil, the lightest color olive oil. I heat it in the microwave just until it's warm to the touch and massage a tiny amount into my scalp and then distribute it throughout my dry hair, maybe start with 2 tablespoons, that should do it. I then gather my hair into a ponytail, without putting it into a ponytail holder, lightly twist it and clip it up overnight. The next morning my hair is so soft and smooth. Still some frizz around my face but not as bad.

I have natural curly hair-try these products, they are made for african american hair but Ilove it-smells nice too!

my hair was the same, get your hair layered, but long layers, if you have them too short it will make your hair more frizzy, ask them to razor cut it and thin it out.

I got my hair dont not long ago and i can finally use normal hair ties!

I know how it feels to have very very thick and wavy unruly hair.

Also, Redken and matrix shampoo and conditioner are reallly good.

You can buy them from salons or stores such as priceline.

And buy a GHD hair straighter, its a life saver.

I need tips on how to make my hair thick. I would appreciate any help.?

There are vitamins designed to help hair and skin. I take the brand Nioxin, but there are several brands. You can also try some of the thickening shampoos and styling products. Try not to pull your hair back in severe styles as this will cause breakage and pulling. I lost about half the volume of my hair from being extremely anemic. If your hair loss is recent, you may want to have a blood test.

I need tips on how to make my hair thick. I would appreciate any help.?

If your hair is naturally thin, which could mean either u have little hair or that the 1 hair itself is thin. In either cases ur hair must be oily. Right? Try taking good care of it, eg. using conditioners, avoiding mousse and gel, applying masks to it. You know? All that good stuff. Leave ur hair down more often and probably that's it

good luck

I hair thick curly, frizzy hair what mousse should use?

i what the mousse to have a strong hold but i want it to look natural not like straw.

I hair thick curly, frizzy hair what mousse should use?

Try "Curls Up" it's a gel. I put it in wet hair and then blow dry. It's not stiff %26amp; not icky like mousse. It deters the friz and boosts the curls.

Maybe you can tell by picture I have really thick, frizzy curls as well. (I was on the Harley so it's a little wind stretched)

I hair thick curly, frizzy hair what mousse should use?

I have the same problem, I use "Aussie" The purple bottle that has a pic of a kangaroo on it, it smeel's great too!

I hair thick curly, frizzy hair what mousse should use?

you should use.

V05 cuvaceous curls styling hairspray.

I hair thick curly, frizzy hair what mousse should use?

Well...i also have really frizzy curly hair and i agree with the person who already answered with the aussie but i have something even better. There is this special curly hair company called ouidad (it's french) and if you go to www.ouidad.com you can order shampoo, conditioner, and gel and stuff like that for your hair and it comes really fast. They also have directions for how to use the gel and stuff. There is also a special ouidad hair-cut to thin out the hair and make it lighter (it's really good). If you dont want to do that (but i would recommend to do it) I also use hard curl and soft curl by Garnia for gel for after i come out of the shower, when my hair's wet. A shampoo I use when i dont use ouidad is sunsilk shampoo. But, I strongly recommend ouidad. Good Luck.

How can I grow my hair thick naturally?

The thickness of your hair is predetermined. You cannot change it. Keeping it healthy by eating right, taking vitamins, and keeping it trimmed will help make it "look" thicker (because healthy hair has more volume), but you cannot change the thickness. I don't know why anyone would give you the advice to "shave it off". That will only make your ends blunt until it starts to grow again. Don't take that advice.

How can I grow my hair thick naturally?

just shave off ur hair and when it grows,it will become thick.=D

How can I grow my hair thick naturally?

Agree with jay :p or u can get a hair growing gel/spray thingy and it'll let u grow more hair and it'll look thick :D

Know any San Francisco Bay Area salons that are good for cutting/styling a teen's long thick cu

I need someone who works well with curly hair and won't cause too much pain! East Bay or SF preferred - thanks!

Know any San Francisco Bay Area salons that are good for cutting/styling a teen's long thick curly hair?

I grew up in the Bay Area %26amp; I have very long, very thick curly hair. I am now 35 years old, and what you are looking for has been a life-long quest for me! My sister used to be a model, so I had access to some of the very best hairdressers in the bay! And you know what I've found? The highest rated hairdressers are usually the worst for people with hair like ours. Why? Because the best are usually in high demand, therefore they are pressed for time. Hair like ours requires a hairdresser with patience and attention to detail.

My advice : try to find a salon that is a little quieter %26amp; slower than most (one that is not trying to match McDonald's in # of people served, if you know what I mean!). If that's not an option (or even if it is), try sitting in the waiting area and watching the stylists work. See if you can spot one who looks like they care more about the quality of the job they do than about how fast they can get through it. One last tip: when you think you've found a good one, ask them if they can thin hair using a straight edge razor.

How would I bring my thick hair back?

I once had thick hair. Suddenly it started to fell gradually. I'm afraid to use another brand of shampoo (i use head and shoulders) because i would be plagued with dandruff. Help! Also, is stress and hair fall related? Thanks!

How would I bring my thick hair back?

1. No heat.

2. No brushing; minimal combing.

3. For dandruff use Hollywood Beauty Tea Tree Oil on your scalp.

4. Yes stress and hair shedding are related.

5. Use Nioxin Shampoo/Garlic Shampoo to battle the shedding.

How would I bring my thick hair back?

there are special kinds of shampoos and other treatment to thicken hair. .it could be related to stress. maybe you should go the salon and ask them too.

How would I bring my thick hair back?

Avoid stress and start loving your hair i.e take good care of your hair. Spend some time for it.
