I have long, thick wavy hair. After I shampoo and condition it, it still gets tangled? What should I

After I shampoo and condition my hair and dry it, what should I put it in while its wet? Should I use a polisher or smoothing and shine serum?

Apply a larger amount of conditioner to it while washing, and don't be too obsessive about washing it out. Then apply leave in conditioner after towel drying it, be generous since you probably have more hair than the average person.

while your hair is still wet and the conditioner is still in, brush your hair out very well. then blow dry it.

Get Nexxus Humectress. It is a "leave in conditioner". You apply to towel dried hair, the size of a dime. Apply from roots to ends. Then get a big pick, like for using on permed hair or a big detangler comb. You will be able to get all of the tangles out quite easily.

DON'T brush your hair while wet. It'll frizz, and blow drying it will add to the frizz. Instead, use Farouk Silk Therapy while wet and comb out your hair with a large tooth comb. Farouk detangles my hair REALLY well. Then let it air dry.

you didn't say what kind of shampoo or conditioner that you use/or how many different brands you have tried with the same result. have you tried leaving the conditioner on longer? most manufacturers recommend several minutes wait before rinse. you may be allergic to your current brand which causes hair to dry out and kink up...leaving you with tangles. treat yourself to a salon treatment and get your hair thinned then/or at least ask for the salon employee's opinion about your hair. if what they used works=go back and buy some more.

U should use leave in conditioner, and blow dry ur hair. There is a conditioner called comb thru softener. It acyually smells really good and works wonders. u can find it in the black hair care aisle. U might want to use a blow dryer that has a comb attached to it, its great for long thick hair that gets tangled. I usually find the detangler at walgreens or the grocery store.

First of all, don't use a brush. Use a wide tooth comb. A brush can make wavy hair frizzy and can cause split ends and breakage. Use a leave in conditioner and try to not twist your hair in the towel. Instead scrunch it with the towel.

If you hair is long, there's not much you can do to keep it from getting tangled, but a leave in conditioner/detangler will help with brushing it.

Also, using a good shampoo with added vitamins and conditioners will help. Use a good, deep conditioner at least once a week and try not to blow dry it too much, let it dry naturally. If you have to blow dry it, focus on the roots and most of the way down the hair shaft. Leave the ends to dry on their own. This will help keep hair from frizzing and will also add volume and curl definition.

I use mousse in my hair when it's wet. It's lighter then gel and will allow curl to be more natural.

After styling, use a design cream or pomade. That will keep fly-aways down and will help it to not frizz so much.

OMG! I used to have the same problem. I would suggest using the conditioner, Humectress. Put it on the sides of your face and at the very tips of your hair. After you get out of the shower, use a comb with not many prongs (if that makes sense...) and run it through your hair to get your hair get rid of the big tangles. Afterwards, run through it with a wide paddle brush (they're better than normal brushes!!!!!!!). If that doesn't work, get a spray-in detangler, or ask your hairdresser for help.

Note, that Humectress also doubles as a leave-in conditioner that you can leave in, and then comb out. (Afterwards, if you like your hair straight and not frizzy Chi straightners work wonders and to loosen up the frizz, use Aquelle!) Good luck!!!!!

Do not use a brush on wet hair.

Do not use Pantene anything.

A good shampoo and conditioner is good and then use a spray leave in conditioner. Bioloage, amplify, for example.

If you want to use a brush after you use a wide tooth comb to get the tangles out ,use a vent brush while blow drying.

I have three girls that are bi-racial and they have very thick and curly hair. I use to struggle with their hair (I have think straight hair). I would go through at least one bottle of conditor and detangler a WEEK. It was so hard to deal it.

However, I found a product that works wonders. It's called Arbonne Intelligence Daily, Self-Adjusting Shampoo (http://www.arbonne.com/products/not-so-b... Since I have been using this shampoo, I don't even have to condition their hair!!!! I condition once a week if needed. All I do, is put about two pumps into their hair and then comb out with a wide tooth comb. Even the NEXT day it is still not tangled!! I no longer have to use the detangler and the kids are happy because I am not tugging on their head.

You can buy it from http://www.gleamingskin.myarbonne.com or I can send you some samples. If you want to see how crazy my kids are, send me an e-mail angelarey @ myarbonne.com
