Im 14 and i have mid length hair with lots of layers. My hair is really thick is there any product to like make it less thick of any methods drying hair, or anything HELP!!!

If you dry it with a diffuser on the hairdryer it should calm it down a bit. You could try some serum too. Apparently there is some method that can be done at the hairdressers which thins your hair, but don't hold me to that; I'm not sure.

just have your stylist use thinning sheers all over to think out the layers. My hair doesn't grow long but thick, just thinning sheers alone makes a huge difference in thickness, how it lays, acts, etc.

See if your hairdresser knows how to use thinning shears to take some of the weight out. I have curly hard to manage hair, and mine does this, and it really helps to make it more manageable. I have the same problem and the only thing they tell you to do is get it layered or thinned out. Layers makes it thinner but it looks thicker and im sure that's not the result you were looking for. A lot of hairdressers do not recommend thinning but they still do it. They remove how ever much you want but im not sure how much it will cost you, the end result is definitely worth it. I did it and it looked great! Much easier to straighten and everything, but remember to ask about all of the ups and downs of it. Good luck

when at the hair dressers ask her /him to thin it out they have what i call thinning scissors which unlike proper scissors cuts of some strands of hair ,my hair is really thick and after this is done its made a real difference ,maybe a hairdresser reads this and can tell you the proper name of the scissors.

I have used the new SunSilk products for frizzy hair, flatten hair, curl hair, etc. and it really works better than any products I have used before. I have the same problem and I used the de-frizz and the straightening one (purple bottle) and it works really well for my hair. If you still have a problem, I would go to Sally's Beauty Salon or a similar store and ask someone that works there. Most of them know the products really well and they have so many products out there that help.

The only thing that has help may thick, abundant, coarse hair has been the Sunsilk Anti-poof (the blue one) shamppoo, conditioner and balm.

The layered look is not the best haircut for t your type of hair. Consider having it the same length so it will look better and healthier, and it will be easier to keep up. Having you hair professionally thinned every quarter is excelent to make it ledd bulky, specially in the back.

Also, I invested on a CHI ceramic flat iron (do not buy any other brand, it wont help you any). Yes, they are about $100 dollars but they are worth every dime.

I also follow with Biosilk serum ($20 per bottle) also worth every penny. It makes the hair silky and strigh and helsp keep it straght.

I've tried averything on themarket, but onlt the above products have done anythinfg for my hair.
